Sara Ramirez

Sara Ramirez (born Sara Ramirez) is a Mexican American musician and popular actress. In her early years Sara was targeted for racial discrimination by a lot of Americans. After she participated in a school competition and received great praise for her performance when she was in the ninth grade, the girl began to feel more confident. Not only did it boost her confidence but her dreams were changed. At the age of 22 she was a graduate of the New York's Julliard School. As she was turning 23, she started her journey in Broadway in Paul Simon's The Capeman. Then, when she was 23 she made her film debut in You've Got Mail. Her greatest break came in the role of The Lady of The Lake as she appeared in the first Broadway version of Spamalot. She won the Tony Award and received great reviews for her performance. The following year, she appeared as Callie Torres on Grey's Anatomy for ABC, she gained greater recognition. She is known as a performer and has also released a single as well as an extended show. In addition, she's a campaigner and has been active to promote LGBT rights.
