Ina-Garten
Ina Garden is an American cookbook writer who has won Emmy award. She hosts the oldest Food Network show, Barefoot Contessa. The show began in 2002. It is scheduled to air for another 27 years. Ina Garten began her career as a journalist at the White House where she wrote nuclear energy policies and budget papers. Although she initially found the position interesting and stimulating but she quickly became bored. Barefoot Contessa was then purchased. It took her nearly 18 years to make her shop hugely successful, and then sold the store. She then began to write the first of many cookbooks. In the following years, numerous cookbooks were published and she also wrote magazine columns. The Food Network TV show also was launched which was an enormous hit. The range of products includes kitchen equipment to ingredients as well as storage containers. Ina did not go to a cooking school and has not worked in restaurants. Ina is completely self-taught. She is known for her straightforward method of cooking, and her effortless entertaining.
